“How to Experience Great Friendships” is our topic for this Sunday March 14th. Be sure to adjust your clock so your church friends won’t be sad if you accidentally sleep in.

Starting Wednesday nights March 10th a new 4 Week foundations study will begin on Sanctification. Lessons include: The two focuses of Sanctification, The Two natures of the Christian, The Power of Grace, and The Daily Process of Growth. Led by Pastor Dan.

New “Confident Parenting Group” Sunday Nights starts March 14th

We will be meeting for six sessions led by Chris and Julie Teien and hosted by the Drummers. We will be using Jim Burns “Confident Parenting” material. Contact Pastor Chris if you want to attend. We will try to offer child care.

Help us Create a New Resource to minister to jobless

Help River Rock Church create  a job resource page for our church website that can be printed out and handed/sent to people without internet. Please send info and links that you know of that would help someone who has just lost their job get a good start and be encouraged to walk with God during the job search. Pastor Dan is starting a Personal Development course – a combination of Bible and doctrinal study with practical application.

The goal is to help those who are interested in finding their God dream, and helping them pursue it.  I hope to help each person get excited about where God is calling them to serve and then helping them plug into or start a ministry around their dream.  Men, women and older teens are invited.

The group will meet about once per month on Saturday mornings.  Each session will last about 2-3 hours.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.  Expect a very hands on approach, with lots of discussion. 

The first session will look at how God uses ordinary people to do extra-ordinary things.

We will look at the people in Scripture, look at their backgrounds, education, personality, what they accomplished – and discuss how and why it was God was able to use them and what this means for each of us.
