Before becoming a full time Pastor Chris worked for eight years in the optical industry at a corporation in Minnetonka while volunteering in ministry at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie. Chris has been a full-time pastor since 1996 and has served at First Baptist Church in Forest City, Iowa and Chisholm Baptist (BGC) in Chisholm, Minnesota before moving to Belle Plaine in 2001 to start River Rock Church.

Chris has been married to Julie since 1987 and they have two boys and a daughter that married a local man from Belle Plaine. They also have two granddaughters. Chris & Julie also have two Australian Shepherds dogs.

Chris is passionate about helping people find Jesus and live the “Christ Centered Life” and tries to proclaim God’s awesome message of salvation, grace and hope in a real and relevant way. He received the majority of his formal ministry training and degrees from Crown College and Moody Bible Institute. He is licensed and ordained with the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

Dan and his family moved from Waconia to Jordan to help start River Rock Church. Dan and his wife Becky have four adult children and one grand daughter and a few more grandkids on the way. Dan and Becky’s life experience help them to lead some of River Rock’s Growth Groups including the FaithBuilders group. Dan and Becky are graduates of Crown College.

Jessica balances beinga wife, mom and part time administrative assistant. She enjoys photography and social networking on sites like Facebook. She is one of first founding members of River Rock Church. Jessica attended Crown College and her husband Tim is currently at Crown College.
